Greetings from the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 4 Benefit Funds.  Located in Medway, Massachusetts, the Funds provide comprehensive yet innovative benefits to the men and women of Local 4. 

Over the last couple of years, the Health & Welfare Board of Trustees has announced numerous benefit enhancements to the Plan.  From the implementation of the Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO network, to assistance with understanding your complex medical conditions and treatment plans through Best Doctors, to fitness reimbursements, smoking cessation benefits, or comprehensive Health Fairs, the Trustees strive to keep the membership as healthy as possible.

Also, with the memberships’ best interests in mind, the Annuity & Savings Plan Trustees recently partnered with Cammack LaRhette Advisors to provide dedicated, in-person retirement planning services for Plan participants at no out-of-pocket cost.  Other new initiatives include a loan provision, and an increase of the 401(k) deferral rate up to $6.00 an hour.

The Pension Plan continues to distribute your retirement savings and I encourage each member on the verge of retirement to meet with our dedicated Pension Administrator.
